Hey guys, i want to change my tranny fluid on my 98 xjr. Is this an easy job that i would be able to do in my garage or should i leave it to the pro's? also i was looking at the eurotoys web site and they have a kit with fluid and gasket and filter. for around 120, sounds like a good deal to me. It also says i would need to rent the dip stick to check level. I haven't really done much maint on the jag so im a pretty unfamiliar, where would i check the level with the dip stick? hope i don't sound to newb like. he he . Help would be greatly appreciated. thnx.

 

The XJR does allow you to add a dipstick to the transmission. We sell them for $114.89. (They will not fit in the XJ8 transmission.)
