uy and install a dipstick Iam very new to the forum
i have a 2001 VDP 4.0 litre
Its in the shop now having the timing tensioners replaced.
Can i buy and install a dipstick tube.
Sure would be helpful if i could

Hello Jack, and welcome.
If your car is not supercharged then you are talking about the ZF 5hp24 transmission. The only dipstick tube option I've seen is the following link for an aftermarket product. Looks pretty cool actually! I have not researched it however.
