Trunk Light out (1999 XJ8) first of laundry list

I could swear there was a Trunk Light in my 99 XJ8 , IF SO WHERE IS IT AND IS BULB SERVICEABLE ???

There's the lens covers in the boot lid carpet, carefully ease it out by the sides with a plastic card and the bulbs are bayonet type easy auto bulb to buy

Or you will have a slightly bigger problem, caused by either one of the wires broken (most likely where they are along the hinge), or your micro switch gave the ghost (fitted in the lock assembly.

Worth knowing, just in case.
