I know it's not a new topic, but just happened few days ago. trunk won't open by the dash button or fob remote.

only works with the key

I don't know if the car stuck in the valet mode , I tried to do the hard reset(hope I did it right) but noluck

FYI, I only have one driver key, I never have the valet key

 

Vinnie - it'll be the trunk lid wiring, I've just suggested in another thread - it must be the season for it. Right hand side trunk lid hinge is a wiring loom, some of these wires run to the trunk lid and locking mech. I'd suggest unwrapping the loom at the hinge and locate the cable break. It won't be the fob as that still unlocks the car? and the light on the valet button is out? so it's a power feed issue.
