The tick-tock sound of the turn signal has become intermittent. The turn signals function normally, just sometimes are silent. Is this an easy fix?

 

generally it's the speaker given up the ghost...you can buy from radioshack similar or hack a cheap radio up for one. Or it could be a wiring fault, i.e. solder points on the speaker, I'd be inclined to suspect the former as it went intermittent then died.
You'll need to remove the lower steering wheel shroud to access the speaker and wires, a couple of pozi screws hold it in place.
