Received the TPS I ordered on Amazon - $42 for a unit like the one xjack posted with the Denso PN on it. Received a unit that looked nothing like the one pictured in the ad but just like all the other crap selling for as little as $17 - sent it back. In the meantime I've realized my loss of throttle occurs mostly when cold - initially after a few minutes of running and now before I'm even out of the garage. With a few restarts and the engine coming up to temp the problem seems to disappear. This morning with the engine cold I packed a small microwave heated pad around the TPS for a few minutes before starting and the beast ran without incident. Thinking this suggests a cracked carbon track in the TPS that makes contact when things warm up? After calling a few of the specialist parts suppliers it appears the original Denso units are not available. I also researched AutoECU regarding their rebuild service and came across a lot of horror stories - not sure whether to love or hate the internet at this point. I called their sales rep and asked what the rebuild process is for a bad PPS or TPS - wouldn't share that info but when I mentioned Chinese junk he assured me no aftermarket components are used in their rebuild process. So wondering whether to go the rebuild route (are there more reputable TB rebuilders out there?) or try to find a decent TPS. Xjack, the link you included above took me to a site in Spanish that I couldn't navigate. It also looks like the TPS voltage curves are slightly different on the supercharged engine - not sure if that makes any difference. Appreciate any thoughts out there.

Ahh ****, fckin chinese
As far as i understand denso doasn't manufacture those items anymore so chance rebuilder uses original parts is extremely low.
There is other possible issue with tb that could cause your issue, sometimes butterfly bearings seize and make butterfly itself stick, it is diy rebuildable but it may be less hassle and more cost effective to just get another item from the junkyard and rebuild current one at your leisure as a hobby
