Default Vanden Plas wood in a regular XJR?

My 1998 XJR desperately needs a change in its interior wood trim. I have found a source for a complete set out of a vanden plas car that is the color I want and in good shape. Are there any differences as to size or shape of the vanden plas trim that would make it unworkable in an XJR? Googling hasn't found any. Thanks

VDP's are long wheeled base so the rear door/window wood may be an issue.

That's a solid point, thanks.

I don't know if it was luck but, of all the 98' XJR's I've seen, they all had the dark wood and they weren't cracked or faded. 99% of all the XJ8's and and XJR's that I've worked on had much lighter wood and were primarily cracked or faded. Any ideas??

Mine has the dark wood and its faded to dull and is cracked on the doors. Thankfully the seller I had found also has sets for a regular wheelbase as well. I prefer the burled walnut anyway.

My 98 Executive is basically an underpowered XJR and has the dark wood. All the door trim pieces are cracked and some even twisted/buckled...

I think have a few dark wood door pieces that were in great condition. If still looking I'll check. I have a few pieces posted in classifieds for sale but have some other darker ones laying around I'll look for.

The VDP door wood trim have a gold line running down them, similar to a pinstripe. The center console and airbag pieces have lines with letters.

Here is a quick example:
