Is there anyone on here who has V130 or V131 IDS SDD software that will work with a mongoose cable I just purchased. Hoping to access modules on my 98 xj8l. If not can someone point me in the right direction as far as what type of operating system to use with what versions?? Thanks in advance My Feline Friends!!

 

Any SDD from 125 onward will work for your 'older' car as it will revert to Legacy IDS anyway.

IDS/SDD prior to SDD 125 requires a Rotunda VCM.
J2534 Vehicle Communication Interface Devices can use SDD 125 onward.
There is no advantage to anything later than 125 when working on a car that will revert to LEGACY IDS.
