With key out and lights off, when driver door opened warning chime goes off. When try to use remote to lock, unlock or open boot get error beep. I’ve checked that all doors and boot closed.

 

I believe that little door in the ignition switch is sticking open when it should be closing as soon as the key is removed. It will also prevent some (if not all) the modules in the car from going into sleep mode. I would use a dry graphite lube for all the key holes in the car.
