Washer Fluid sensor - in pump?
While working on the intermittent starting problem with my 99 XJ8, I decided to take a break to address the washer fluid low message that I get, even though the reservoir is full.
I pulled out the fluid bottle but could not find any electrical connections other than to the pump. There didn't appear to be a separate level sensor.
Is the low fluid level message generated by the pump?
Thanks for any insight
Steven.
