Weekend Trip Michigan to Tennessee
Drove my XJ8 1161 miles over the weekend from Michigan to Tennessee and back, the drive was great.
The only issue was that after about 250 miles the check engine light came on so when we arrived in Nashville I connected my handheld scanner which I keep in the glove box and pulled the codes.
P0442 was the only relevant code which is "Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) Leak Detected (small leak)".
Cleared the code checked the fuel cap. Check engine light has not come back on, but will be monitoring this now.
My wife shared the driving which is included 4 hours of non-stop driving, her comment was that she just loved the way the car handled including how comfortable and quite it was.
Anyway on the whole it was an awesome weekend with both my ladies!
