First time drove the car at night. Picture is worth a thousand words. No rain or moisture. I didn't want to video when moving which is even weirder. When another car is approaching on a dark stretch of road two beams from far off look like they lock onto the cat ornament. The beams stay fixed on the cat and rotate as the car passes. Maybe the layers in the windshield are delaminating? And yes, my gas cap warning started showing up yesterday. And I have a Foxwell ordered to chase down the SRS.
If any silicone or "greasy' care product or things like Rain-X are applied to the windscreen, they will cause this kind of reflection at night. It should disappear if you wash the glass thoroughly with a washing liquid that does not contain silicone (many car shampoos do). Kitchen washing liquid and a good scrub should fix the issue. I always add some kitchen liquid in the washer bottle - keeps the windscreen clear and degreased.

It's been through the car wash twice since I bought. I'll give it a scrub.
