Were 19 inch wheels an option on 03 XJR's?

Does anyone have 18X8.5 wheels on their X308 XJR? I ordered Coventry Whitley 18X8.5 wheels to replace the 20 inch wheels on my XJR. They didn't come in 18X8. I don't know how wide the 20 inch wheels I now have are. I am hoping 18X8.5 isn't too wide. The tires I ordered are 255/40/18.
