Almost the same as the X300/X308, but you can see the small
differences. For example, the wrap around markers and the
sleeker greenhouse.

The story is that the front and rear of the XJ90 concept were
grafted onto the XJ40 greenhouse.

 

It has some nice aspects, but it looks like a late 80's S-Class...glad they went with something else

Indeed. You can see the evolution from the XJ40. The 3 window side... Low slung lines... Would have been a great successor...

I like the SEC and the xj40 a lot...looking at them all now, kinda makes me want to buy an SEC...great cars.

 

My mother had a white SEC --- stock .. no body kit. It had a black interior -- unusual as most had blue or tan.

Great car ... horrific MPG ... 10-12 in the city. Not that the XXJR is much better.
