Default What is this wire for?

2002 XJR-100 rear-view mirror. Auto rain sensors and auto headlights. Found all of the wiring diagrams but none of them are colour-coded. Need to replace the mirror due to busted balljoint mount but can't determine what this green wire is for. Anyone?

Go to jagrepair.com and download a free electrical manual, I can guarantee the wiring is colour coded in those diagrams.

It's on Pg. 65, but if this is colour coded, I have no idea how to read it.

It takes a minute to decipher how the sections are numbered and the modules interconnect, but once you get your head around the structure it isn't too bad.... although you may have to make some notes

But specific to the wire color coding, the abbreviations are on page 13

I'd recommend reading the "User Instructions" starting on page 12 which will help explain all the notations.

I have to do that again every time I begin to use one of these electrical guides

.
