Default Whats involved in putting an XJR motor and trans in an XJ8?

Just a question of idle curiosity, but how easy is it to swap a SC motor and trans into an N/A XJ8? Are thing pretty plug n play, just swap over the ECU with the motor, or is it more involved like merging wiring harnesses, I know the NA cars would have VVT and wiring and sensors associated with that, what do you do about that for the non VVT SC motors? Also what about driveshafts, are the trans the same length? What if you were trying to fit it into a long wheelbase car, like a VP, what would you do for a driveshaft then? Is there anything else I'm not even considering?
Again this is (mostly) just idle curiosity.
