I just recently purchased 2008 XJ8. Dealer say's its CD changer wired. After searching internet I see that there has been a change in audio options for this year. Is it worth it trying to find a CD changer or should I explore IPOD solution?

 

You are in the wrong forum area, this is the section for the x308's not the x350's, but that aside, I would go for the iPod / MP3 player option. You have so much more capacity with even an 8GB unit over CD's.

I am using a 16GB unit in mine and I am only using a cassette adaptor. You will have many more options with your more modern electronics.

 

When I saw the $400 ACM plus labor to install, I thought my CD player wasn't so bad. Anyone have a more economical way to add an Ipod?

Blandty, H20boy really wants us legacy XJ8 guys to assist you with spending your money. I haven't come across anything better / cost effective than the acm.
