Default Not so innocent looking as it seems.

Looking totally innocent, as if nobody had thought of a custom hit job...

But then the bonnet is lifted and an Opel 3.0l is concealed beneath. Was this a common theme? Apparently its been in there for 30 years comfortably, the dealership are willing to swap it out for a genuine Jag heart beat if requested.

If only they had done this to a coupe, it would look amazing. I can only explain my enthusiasm is down to loving the "Eleanor" Mustang, this so reminds me of it.

I've seen a lot worse as a custom car.

Yeah I don't like it, I just mean it could be a lot worse.

I enjoyed the horror of looking at all those crazy modifications.
I think that one is missing in this long list above:

No worries about car park dings and shopping trolley bumps with this monstrosity. I thought Clarkson's SLK mounted on a Range Rovers underwear was bad, but this takes the biscuit.

At least they didn't cut the arches for the big tyres.

Sacrilege! My ambition has always been to keep the Duchess as stock as she came from
the factory. I used to wonder how she would look with 19" chrome wheels, and I even
put some on one day, but immediately reconsidered it because it just did not look right.

Pictured at last year's JagurForums day out. It was actually brilliant on two levels - first, the owner has a great sense of humour and had invested loads of time and effort and, secondly, it was all for a good cause as he used it to raise money for a kid's cancer charity.

I gave it a like simply for the children's cancer charity event. I'll give small kudos for the fender flame.

I have yet another contribution to this thread:
I just received these pictures from an acquaintance, who lives close to Hamburg (and who also has a X308). These are the pictures (I got his permission to post them here):

So, I'd say from the point of view of the old Jag the seats are coming from, it's a bad modification (as the Jag probably does not exist anymore), but from the point of view of the seat, it's a jolly good transformation. He even connected 12V power supply to it, i.e. the seats are heated...

My word, they've spent a lot of money to ruin that car.

I always find it interesting when an individual's personal taste
overwhelms common sense.
