Now am soon to pick up a 2003 XJR with 92,000 miles.

Ended up turning a profit during the switch, and I'm
buying the XJR from a private collection. Looks like a
really nice car. I don't have pics to share, but I will
say it is Sapphire Blue metallic over black/oatmeal, which
I believe to be a special order only colour on the XJR.

my 2000 XJR ran 130K miles

My '95 XJ6 has 174K, still running strong. Just need to figure out vib/shake at 70 mph? Was told by prior owner (ford tech) it was wheel/tire shake, as the car had been setting in storage, so may have out of round tires? Sound like this is possible?

2002 XJ8 is somewhere around 125K (Mechanic messed up my instrument panel) brought it in September @ 114K. Had an Engine tune up, brakes, front shocks done. Drives good no engine problems after the tune up (knock on wood).

2001 XJ8 L at 66,500 miles.

Yeah, i had exactly the same problem on my car. Four new tyres, full wheel alignment and now drives super sweet again! The wheel alignment was a long way out though.

Still looks great, despite mileage of 6x round the earth ;-)

We've only had it 'new' to us for three months, 01 XJR 62250.

Purchased 4 months ago from a little old lady from Nashville who had it from new, with 32,000 genuine miles. Now has 35,000 miles, as this is now my daily driver. I love it. Just recently resolved the final few small issues I had with the car. Looks and drives GRE>>>>>>AT.
I am originally from Britain, now living in Houston, Texas, but never owned a Jaguar before, ashamed to say, I drove BMW's when I lived in Britain.
Going back 17 years when I lived in Britain, Jaguars were renowned to be very unreliable, and as now, expensive to repair, and very few Mechanics would work on them. BUT Hell, I enjoy it NOW.

XJ8 -99: 95 000 miles

1999 XJ8 with just under 56K mi, just purchased a few weeks ago. The car runs well. The service engine light is on and the seller (a BMW dealer mechanic) said it was an O2 sensor.

The car has the broken cupholder & sagging headliner option, those might have been stock on all models

I have no idea what the previous owner did to the car. It does have new tires. The guy I bought it from only had it a few months, and bought it for it's engine only and then abandoned his project. He said that he had a friend at the Jag dealership and they had accessed the cars records and that the car had had dealer service at 42K mi. I would like to know what that included, and in particular if I should be doing a trans filter/fluid change before my wife starts driving it every day.

2006 XK8 has 21,201 miles. Keeping it low. Will this ever pay off? Maybe in 30 years.

Replaced all the things you'd expect after 10 plus years and those miles. Took me two years to being it up to par but well worth it.

'02 XJR just turned 134,000. I just did the timing chains and tensioners. An I now have to do the differential and rear hub bearing. Oh joy.

The car is fun to drive and a great looking car. I guess my real problem is at 6'!" I dont fit in it very well and really don't like driving it because I'm so uncomfortable. My wife LOVES it, but then again its her car.

I guess I have low mileage on my 95 XJ6. Only 105k. New starter this weekend. New air conditioner condenser soon. Really hot on these 95 degree days. Then a paint job and she will be as good as new. Untill something else breaks. But I do love driving her.

I just bought my 2000 XJ8 in April 2012 with just a hair over 90K and at 91,700 now. I replaced the upper chain tensioners right away just to avoid a disaster. Also have been slowly getting around to a bunch of service. I've drained and replaced the coolant. I've bled and replaced the brake fluid. Changed the fuel filter. Oil and filter of course. Spark plugs. Threw a code about a month ago and so I replaced the O2 sensors. Replaced the 7 year old battery with a new AC Delco battery. Replaced the headliner. Before the end of the summer, i plan to do the transmission fluid and differential gear oil if I can figure out how to get a tool on the plug. Also want to replace the shock bushings soon as they appear to be crumbling. I know about the A-drum, but I'm just gonna drive it like I don't want to spill any grey poupon and hope it lasts a long time. When it goes, I'm fully equipped to deal with it myself (I have a shop with a lift, tranny jack, etc.), just not looking forward to the hassle. And the Jag is not the only old car I have so I keep up my premium AAA membership. I am tho very encouraged by those who've posted very high mileages. Keep those posts coming!
