Hi,

I just changed from Summer to winter tyres and had Penta alloys, which I replaced with Asteroids.
I really like the Asteroids, which I got a good deal online.
My question is that the wheel nuts stick out a fair bit now, and from pics I've seen other Asteroids don't.
Can someone recommend a suitable wheel nut or lug nut for a 1998 XJR?
I'm based in Germany, but can order from wherever.
Also are similar age XKR and XJR (or XK8 and XJ8) interchangeable for wheel nuts?
And my last question, is the car safe to drive with the long nuts? At least in town, low speeds?

As long as the wheel are on tight and CORRECTLY, it is safe to drive.

I was about to ask such a dump question, lol.

Anyway, find a salvage yard with the Asteroids and take the lug nuts. lol

for some reason I didn't think of that, I don't see many XJ8s in the scrap yard near me, but a quick check online showed quite a few around the country, so I've called a few places.
