Unless you have a specific problem with a chain it is not normally replaced and I would not use the repair link in any case.
Lincoln LS/Thunderbird tensioners are less than $60 each, a FelPro gasket set is less than $40. That's $160 so I would not buy that kit at $249. If you need the chains then buy the factory set from Ford/Lincoln and tilt the intake cam up for an install from the rear.
