Default x308 (1998) Exhaust Options

1998 XJ8 x308

I'd hate to think this is the only option online for tips for these rides?

"6 in. outlet diameter, 5 in. inlet diameter, 12 in. length"

http://www.drivewire.com/search/?Ntt...0&t_event=true

Basically we just need a 5" diameter bolt on type right? (that's what drivewire says) Anyone out there with this car have any other choices out there?

Any options that actually point down? I'd like that.

Haha Ricer? Well what size do we need? That's the only option I could find through a quick google search, and it says that is the size the car needs. I'm asking for options and you gave zero, what gives?

Mine are originals like everything else on the vehicle, and severely dirty and nasty, completely covered with gunk. I just asked for options, if nobody on here wants to help that's fine, no big deal, like usual, I'll call the dealer. I had 5 mins to spare so I asked.

Rather than replacing the tips, why not get a good stainless steel cleaner. I would think that you could refurb the existing ones.

possibly, well I actually found lots of options when I had more time with another small google search. It appears brand new ones listed here are only like $50-60 shipped. I've made a purchase that's on the way. I am sure they're not 'top of the line', but neither is the car hah. Thanks testpoint, great help

Chill, Bill... take it as what it was - a joke.
