Anyone know where I can buy one?

All the ones I see in my searches are the 5 button for a more recent Jaguar model. Like this:


My key fob has most of the white images worn off & I sometimes accidentally open the trunk due to too many keys/fobs in my pocket.

I assume 2 decades ago these were available.

A leather cover with embossed images should require a more forceful press to activate the buttons & should minimize accidental activation & also look nice.

If I got a 5 button leather cover, IDK if the buttons would line up correctly & how my centered point of attachment ‘hole’ would work with the more recent, side corner attachment point on those 5 button covers.

 

I didn’t see any leather versions, but silicone covers for Ford remotes are plentiful on eBay. They appear to be the right size and configuration.

 

Have you tried it for fit on the remote for your 2001 XJR?

I’ve not tried for fit. I was referring to this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/183593242421. The buttons look the same but I’m not sure about overall size.

 

Thanks but, that looks more square vs. my rectangular fob. Mine is significantly taller compared to wide.
