X308 rattle

X308 rattle

Hi all,
I have been chasing a rattle in the rear of my 98 X308 for some time. I think it is coming from the right rear. Sounds like tinware? I have had it on a hoist and still can't find it.
Anyone had this before and might know what it is.

Spray silicon on the rubber hangers on the very end of the exhaust pipes.

Try the exhaust tip, it rattles when cold on my 98 XJR...

It appears to be the inner ( black ) piece that rattles, a good belt with a BFH quietens it for a few months.
