I have a 1999 x308 4.0 and would like to grease her all up later this week.
is there a grease nipple for the rear wheel bearings somewhere?.... I can't from memory recall where it was exactly.
On the xj6 s3 it was at the 12 o'clock position, would there be something similar here on the x308.

Just the half shaft universals, same as the XK8.

 

So are the rear wheel bearings a sealed unit??

You can open it up but to put everything back you gonna need new hub nut which is none reusable.
Unless you are kind of person who need to have everything in top condition, i would just wait till it fails and replace everything than.
