X308 XJR Suspension
Can someone who has access to the EPC parts catalogue or similar tell me if the German market part numbers for an X308 XJR springs (front and rear) and dampers (front and rear) are the same for the US market and UK markets please?
I had a chat with my friend who used to work at Jaguar when I did and he was telling me how the German market cars are set up differently and their springing and damping from the factory is different to other markets.
He talked about different bushings too. Part numbers would be very helpful.
The other question I have is:
Do the dampers or shocks of the X306 XJR (straight six) physically fit onto a later X308 XJR? I don't care too much about the compression and rebound rates of the dampers (as those can potentially be re tuned).
Would appreciate answers as I never had success loading up the EPC on my troublesome computers!
Just for reference my Jag seems to have the green Bilsteins- but they are crimped and therefore not rebuildable and the springs at the back have a flash of yellow paint so that tells me they are the comfort springs. Certain the car feels soggier than all the ones I used to thrash around sideways in the UK.
Thanks in advance

If this is the case, then your VIN would be required tell you any special differences for proper fitment of shocks and/or suspension. If your not required to provide your VIN for your purchase, then I am rather doubtful about your friends statement.
Count: My car is orginally a German car. The orginal stock springs and shocks will be replaced by upgraded ones during the engine swap starting in these days. If you do not get answer from other sources, I can check if part #s are still visible. This may take a few weeks since it's the last step in process and schedule is out of my control.

Regarding the X300 v X308 dampers, the front are not compatable (the X300 has a fork and the X308 has a bushed eye at the bottom, due to the different wishbone set ups).
The rears I think should be interchangeable as both have the same set up here, many part numbers are the same (damper lower bush, spring isolator, upper shock mount plate, lower shock bolt etc).....
