It is a 2000 3 month old interstate battery.Had a load test this morning it is a good battery cables tight and clean.after few days it will go dead?Only strange thing is drivers window sometimes fails to roll down. After you disconnect battery it works again. They might be separate problems?thanks any help
I killed one battery and had a heavy drain on a second one. It turned out to be a dying door latch that was not showing up in the message center. It finally decided to tell me the driver's door was not closed when in fact it was, which led to replacement with a remanufactured latch. I've had no problems since then. Maybe the switch pack has an intermittent issue. I say all this as one who thinks electric stuff is black magic and best left to the pros.
Your switch pack in your drivers door also has the security going through it. So that window may be as Eliot describes for the door switch. Be sure the connection is properly seated, it does latch in solidly.
I Performed Séance to get the demons out of it. I found two codes that were on it one was for a oxygen sensor and one was for a high voltage to the MAS that I remember. I reset both those codes and check the voltage yesterday afternoon this morning it was the same so I did not experience a drain last night. These things are so temperamental. I will keep watching and see if I can find out what is going on with the window troll....it is working now.
Car sitting for part of the week and the battery still good it is fixed I do not know where it was draining at I would not think the two codes on the engine would do it. They are so temperamental these cars
KC, do you know what the battery voltage is reading at the battery with that tender hooked up for days is? I have the actual battery tender brand hooked to my other cars and it reads 13.10v. I think that’s a bit high for a battery maintainer. Just wondered what yours reads.

As a rule of thumb, the voltage for float (maintenance) charging should be at least 2.2 V per cell so, 6 x 2.2 = 13.2 V. it can be a bit higher, up to 13.5 V, but it is not necessary.
So update on my window demon. The switch failed again yesterday was Halloween? Anyway I’m going to let the car sit and see if this puts a drain on the battery that will narrow it down if it does fail again I will seriously look into it I have extra parts cars so a switch or a module is no problem
