Late Night
Ok, After frustrating myself late into the night yesterday. It took a bystander to make a comment about needing at least one two filament bulb in the light cluster to work properly. So, I unpluged the housing took it into better light and behold! Both left and right sides the PO (preivous owner) had installed 1156 bulbs in the sockets, WHICH ARE WRONG!. I had pulled one of the bulbs previously and assumed it was burnt out even though it looked good and installed new ones. Sometimes it is the simplest things that go astray!?
Now.... That proiblem solved. The next one. The drivers seat is not working correctly. Lumbar support and Heaters work, but now any of the adjustments. Ideas?

Just in case you run into this and its not the rear bulbs.
99 Jaguar's
(might also be with other years but mine is a 99)
The center console back light is out
and your rear running lights are out
also your front and rear fog lights won't come on.
Where you turn your headlights on and turn signals the wires can come loose(break where there soldered)
There are 2 philips screws under the steering column that you can remove.
Next the bottom plastic cover will come off.
( I let mine just dangle from the wires and didnt pull on it.)
Next look under the steering column at the wires and move the turn signal switch around and see what wires are loose.
My loose wire was a green wire.
It controlled the front and rear fog lights, the center console back lights and the *rear running lights.
(*the rear lights that stay on while your headlights are on.)
Hope this helps someone out at some point in time.
