Hello,
here is my front brake and rear brake comparison. isn't something missing ?
Just wondering...
Shouldn't be a brake pad clip installed in the rear brakes too ?

Mine has them on all four corners. I've also been known to forget the dumb things when doing pads from time to time and remember a week afterwards when I see it in the tool box. It's not going to do anything to not have it other than a little rattle perhaps, but yes, there would usually be one on each caliper.

The Rockauto items look correct, but I'm unsure what model Jaguar you have, your post says XJR, which I believe has Brembo brakes, but your pictures look like standard XJ8 brakes. And you list your car as also being a 1996 XJ6, so maybe that is what you have?

But I think the caliper clip is the same part number, here are links to forum sponsor SNG Barratt, they list the OEM part as JLM12122

Not all XJR's had the brembos, and those do look standard, which should be the clips that you found on rockauto. They look identical to what I have on my 03, and the same caliper setup.
