Xjr problem. Help!!

Hi, i have a 97 xjr, the battery went flat last night, came to start it today and all i get on the dash is gearbox fail, anti lock fail, electric fail, etc. i can,t even get it out of park..... help..... if i disconnect the earth on the battery after charging it will that reset the codes etc. car was fine before this???

Multiple computer faults are a typical sign of low battery voltage, charge the battery and these faults will be gone.

agreed. i have had these symptoms with a dead/low battery. charge it up and you will be fine.

xjr multiple faults

Hi, THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. TURNS OUT IT WAS THE INERTIA SWITCH UNDER THE BULKHEAD BY THE DRIVERS FEET. TRIED RECHARGING BATTERY BUT SAME FAULT. SO I GOT A MOBILE DIAGNOSTICS FREIND TO HAVE A LOOK. CAR WAS UP AND RUNNING IN FIVE MINUTES. PHEW!!!
