Question Is your x308 this quick?? How fast is yours?

Discovered this video of an X308 XJR with aftermarket-upgrades doing 50-90mph in 6 seconds. My high-mileage totally-stock non-S/C X308 apparently takes 9-seconds which is quick but much less impressive than this guy's video.

Where on the timing spectrum is everyone else's x308?

You can hear the supercharger whine in the background and the exhaust note is quite definable. So it isn't a stock XJR.

He's a member - I think a '98 XJR with an exhaust/cats upgrade, maybe a pulley also. The car sounds exactly as an XJR should The true warp is the 70-115 on these cars
Mine seems a wee bit quicker, but it is a little tweaked.

Never get sick of hearing an XJR whine.....I'm with Sean B on that, mine also "seems a wee bit quicker" but also "a little tweaked". 3.58 gear ratio doesn't hurt inducing a more rapid acceleration either. Sorry for stealing your words Sean, but you said it so well

I can testify to that!!!

My old 4.0 N/A XJ was faster than standard, but that too had been tweaked a little. By Sean B.

You never know, it might live again one day

Mine is " a bit " faster than that. Not quite stock though....

0-100 mph in 10.5ish seconds @ 18 psi with an eaton with no heat soak

Yes! Show us your videos.

In my video the 50-90mph appears to be what 4-4.5 seconds?? You tell me.

Like they say "photos or it did not happen"

In this case "videos"

This is so easy these days with the cel phones and you tube. No excuses left anymore.
