So I’m having a no cold air circulate through my cabin, but air does flow.
Vehicle: 1989 Jaguar XJ40 inline 6 RWD 4speed
thing I’ve checked
-All fuses in both footwells
-ac clutch relay (visual pulled and installed to see the clutch activate visibly)
-released and refilled Freon levels with a recharge and oil kit.
- messed with different setting on climate control panel.
-blower motors seem to be operational
-climate control seems to be changing the options audibly
Make sure BOTH blowers are working. (pull each side fuse individually to see if both respond accordingly)
You might need to gently tap each flap servo motor.(they are on the right side of the climate control housing)
I had a thin dowel rod to guide into position to tap the servo motors next to the glove cubby door.
Just place the dowel on the servo case and tap with a small mallet to 'jolt' the motor. It might start moving again?
If the servos are jammed, they might need replacement?
Also, see if the demister assy has come loose and fallen into the other servo flaps.

Ok, so are you saying the air circulating is warm not cold? if so, try pinching off the heater hot water intake under the hood.
If still warm and compressor is cycling then you may be either underfilled/overfilled or you have air in the system.
What did you use to gas up the system?
Quantity? Type?
Did you use a set of manifold gauges?

thank you for the advice ! I keep her in storage, I am going later today and I’m going to try this out and comeback with my finds! Thank you for some direction! Are the servos behind the control panel ?( sorry this is my first go round with jaguars so I’m a bit limited on locations of components til I’ve done a bit more DIY work). If there’s a thread you could link me to with the info that would be okay so you don’t have to re explain it to me !
