I just pulled my old 1994 XJ40 car out of long term storage and as I am driving it around I notice that the interior lights seems to be stuck on.
I discovered this last night when I went out to get something out of the car and as I was walking up to the car I found that even though I had shut the car off a couple hours previous, the interior lights were still stuck on.
So last night and today when I know the car will be sitting for several hours, I have been pulling the neg battery cable.
Anyone have any ideas about what I could check to fix something like this?

What have you tried? The front pair/3 are controlled by switches above the radio. The headrest lights each have their own switch.

Thank you kind sir! I now feel like an idiot but the interior lights are off.Originally Posted by jerry_hoback

I completely forgot about the switch above the radio and it was indeed switched on.
At least this one was a simple fix.
I guess I bumped this switch when I was reassembling the center console after having replaced the rusted and seized shifter cable.

It's an easy thing to do . Glad that's all it was.
