Hello Dave,
I think more information may be required. And why "Must it be the servo"?

Which red warning light?
LHD or RHD?
Is it the 4.0l.
What appears on the VCM when you punch up the display?
What type of cable, electrical or mechanical?

Have you done a basic test of the servo?
(engine off press brake fully 4 to 5 times, then still holding pedal down start engine. You should feel some "give" in the pedal as the system builds up. Release pedal. Run engine for a couple of minutes and switch off. Now when you push the pedal you should hear a hiss type sound from the servo. Again after 4 to 5 full pedal pushes there will be no more hissing and the pedal will be much harder to push).

We will try to help you, just remember that we are also simply enthusiasts like yourself.

Cheers,
