Howdy all, i have a wonderful 93 XJ6 that I love and cherish. I have had a problem for a while now of oil going in the airintake via the fillerneck breather. I have had this looked at by some " Jaguar Specialist" and they say it is know for this car. Ok, well i just spent alot of money haveing the mass air sensor replaced to find out that it wasnt broke at all, but the idle adj thing-ama-jig was full of oil. So I know now that i have a problem and it's isn't just something that happens on this car. Here is the kicker...i love reading the forums for fix its or explanations of why my car makes that noise thing and found a great post by someone who had the same problem and another mechanic told him it was his pvc valve (he didnt have a pcv valve of course). But someone pointed him into the right direction and sujested he clean some part out with a 3/32 drill bit and it might help.

(He had an xj6 also, not a turbo 8... i know u can clean out the breather with a drill bit to reduce presure problems.)

So I was excited when he came back and posted that it worked for him and a few others agreed it worked them as well...

I CLOSED THE PAGE BY MISTAKE AND MY HISTORY CLEARS RIGHT AWAY...I LOST THE PAGE AND WHAT WAS TOLD to HIM...

Anyone have any ideas or input?? All i remember is drill bit size and it worked...what part clogged would couse a presure problem to cause oil to be pushed into the air intake?
