Default 94 XJ Immobiliser = Car won't start!

Well the Immobiliser you slide into the dash by your knee has stopped working. Is there anyway to get the car to start so we can take it to the Dealer? Battery Gauge is displaying 14V and I checked the wiring behind the immobiliser panel & its connected & seems fine. Going to disconnect the battery today & see if that helps reset it..

Smile looking for help

J,

I'm afraid I am not going to be of much help, since I don't have one of these in my car.

I did successfully extricate an after market alarm/remote start system out of a Honda Civic by using this as a guide.

Find the box (probably under the drivers side dash) and trace the wiring. Whenever you find 2 wires interrupting part of the original harness, remove them and join the original back to gether. Do it one wire at a time so you don't get confused and screw it up.
While waiting here on this forum for help, click on this preformed Google Search for 94 XJ Immobiliser I made for you.

I read a couple threads written by owners with similar problems posted on other forums. You may want to join those forums and either post on their threads or PM the writers of them concerning yours.

I wish you Luck.
