Default Advice on replacing the rims for a new car

Hi,

After crashing my beloved 1994 3.2S too badly to repair it, I finally found and bought a new XJ6 1991 in the same colour. Its VIN is SAJJFALG8AK642645.

I have some work to do: I need to replace the grille with the original XJ40 badge and remove the fog lights.

I am also considering mounting the 3.2S rims, as the original ones are not in good condition and I think the 3.2S looks more sporty.

What would you do? Is it better to keep it as original as possible?

Thanks for helping me decide!

Q.

Maybe seek out some period-correct fogs.

I agree. Those fogs look awful, but the correct ones look stunning on the XJ40.
