Automatic door locks not working
Hello all,
I have a 93 XJ40, and the automatic door locks quit working. It is an electrical problem, and I thought that someone had posted a troubleshooting guide for the fuse one error. Can someone point me to the right help? I have the electrical manual and others. Or, on the slight chance, I have no idea what I am talking about. Can you assist me?

Are there symptoms? Was your battery unhooked recently, and if so was on or more of the locks operated manually at the time? If you try to operate one, does anything happen at the others? I'm not sure what fuse it is, but certainly start at that one for checking power.

If you lock the doors manually and then use the key to open the drivers door, does the key open any other locks? Does the lock button on the dash lock all the doors? Is the battery in the remote ok?
