Default Aftermarket Chrome Hub Caps

Hey everyone,

I've been having a hard time looking for these hub caps. I just found out yesterday at the dealership that these are aftermarket parts for my 1990 Vanden Plas. I bought the car like this a month ago thinking I can just replace them easily. Turns out I can't buy these at the dealership, everyone I've called has told me "good luck", and people that chrome can't chrome plastic anymore off US regulations these days.

Dear community, I was wondering if you guys could find me any leads or places to call and look for these specific caps. The OEM part for these have three opening to pop them.Mine only has one and three of them are all peeling now.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from each one of you here.

I have one. It was in the trunk of the 1992 XJ40 I bought recently.
It still has the plastic protection over the Jaguar logo. Needs a good polishing though.

check out ebay auction: 333148984831. they are pricey but if they fit they would be a vast improvement over what you have and they are a focal point. hope this helps

Not sure Ren, but will those eBay ones fit a 1990 with 15" wheels? They came off an 97 XJ8 which AFAIK runs at least 16" ..

You can get brand new 15" ones from the UK though, JCP has them (depending on vehicle VIN) for Ł14.00 each - that's about $17.25 ...so a set of 4 is going to run you $70 or so plus shipping. I'd phone first to make sure you get the chromed (not silver) set.

However, the centre badges are a different story - Ł22.00 each

typical url:

Badges appear to be several different styles,. some stick on, others clip on - If I were you I'd keep the ones I have for now.

You should call them before buying anything quoting your VIN number, model year isn't the best way to get the correct part.

When it comes to hub caps Im, gonna say that youre better off finding some 15” or 16” wheels. One pothole and youll be looking for a spare or two.
