Default Brake light

I replaced my accumulator sphere to remedy the brake (and occasionally ABS) light that would flicker on and off when I applied the brake. Things are now much improved; indeed, once the car is warmed up the warning lights are gone completely. But, for the first 10 minutes of driving or so, the brake light does go on and off for periods of time, unrelated to depressing the brake pedal, AND it seems like it stays on a lot longer now after starting - maybe 30 seconds before going out. My '94 (now sold) used to do that, but my '91 always went off right away.

Is this the "new normal" or is it possible that something else is going on?

Appreciatively,
Scott

PS - I should also say that I'm fixin' on swapping the ABS pump relay just to see, and I'm also wondering about the "combined pressure switch". That switch, though, is hugely expensive and I'm not positive it would solve the problem. I guess that's why I'm looking for some words of experience.

Thanks again,
Scott
