Daimler XJ40
I had put Kenwood CD changer into the trunk in my XJ40 .It did no fault 'till I sold off the car . Keep in mind by a different CD unit you will have to adjust a free FM band and enjoy the music
.So, theCD button onto the stock audio is uncessary by such a set up

It can be used , the trick to use such an item is you must wire the unit cable to radio's existing FM module . You can also use this item w/o having a CD button radio .
PS- Your aftermarket stacker has an external control module right ? It will have to be wired to your car's audio too .(so as to skip, listen to the CD musics )

I always think Jaguar's are meant for Alpine. It took me a long time to find what I wanted without wanting to take the originality away from the stock radio area. A good Alpine head unit will run you 200 bucks and looks perfect, get an Alpine CD changer for the trunk and it gets connected directly to the head unit and you can use the controls on the head unit like a factory cd changer. It's awesome! Plus you dont have to mess around with a different kind of changer where you'll like mentioned before be using an FM station to transmit the music..it sounds terrible like that I used to have a Pioneer set up like that before I switched everything to Alpine. Good luck!
