Default Dash vent question

Hello fellow Jaguar owners!

I am sure its a easy fix but, how do i stop the dash vents from blowing cold air on the windsheild? I keep getting these condensation marks on the outside of the windsheild. I looked thoughout the car's handbook but can't really find a answer.

The demist vent assys probably fell into the duct work from the mounting screws loosening or the green hose has a vacuum fault.

Sometimes you can use your fingers to lift the demist flap and reinstall the fastening screws if they fell.

Didn't know that Bob, thanks.

At least, judging by location, the AC seems to be working, no mean achievement in itself.

Thanks Bob,
What part of the dash would i have the remove to get to the demist flaps? I looked through the two center vents and i can see what you are talking about, with the demist off the vents still remain open.

remove the wood trim from around the center vents, then pull the vents out. You will see the demisting flaps from there.

Have the same problem in my '88 Vanden Plas. Took the easy way and put black duct tape over the vent....it works.
