I'm still trying to get used to these electrical connectors and I'm having difficulty separating the two halves of the electrical connector for the oxygen sensor on my 1990 XJ6. Is there a secret to separating the them? It is a rectangular connector and the female half has two round holes on one side and a silver wire that goes around three of the sides. I don't want to damage the connector. Am I supposed to push or pull on something to get the male half out of the female half?
