Electrical problems all over
Got a check engine light the other day...EGR Circut fail. Tested the EGR vacume solenoid power connectors and found it was not getting power. The jag mechanic gave me a engine control wiring diagram, seems that thee egr solenoid is controled by the ECU via the Main Relay. The relay is functioning. I have no idea where to start troubleshooting that.
I have the attack seatbelts, they work...when they want to. Sometimes they work for a good while and sometimes they quit.
Radio, same story as seatbelts worked 100% for a while then all of a sudden would only turn on every now and again. Now I can't get it to come on at all. Sounds like a short somewhere, I replaced the relay to no avail.
All this and I find my brake accumulator is bad... this car is really starting to discourage me.
