While driving the other day, the brake light came on. I pressed the VCM button and the word "PAD" was present. Sure enough, there wasn't much left on the front brake pads. The wear sensor is incredibly simple, yet effective. I definately avoided the expense of replacing rotors. I was able to change the pads in a jiffy.
