Default front spring

Apart from the time comsuming method using threaded bar, is there another way to remove the front springs without the special tool?
thanks

You can do it, but the problem will be reassembly. The weight of one front corner of the car is not enough to fully compress the spring, so you need a threaded too (factory or otherwise) to compress it.
