Front subframe overhaul

Front subframe overhaul
Hi, I need to replace the rear mounting bushes on the front subframe of my 1990 Daimler 4.0.
My Haynes manual does not cover such operation, but looking at the car from underneath, it looks like the subframe has to come down to get to those rear mounting, which in turn would involve the removal of the steering rack, several suspension components (?) and support of the engine.
Obviously, if I have to go to such efforts changing the rear bushes, I might as well replacing the front ones at the same time. Unfortunately I have not access to a ramp, so this job will have to be performed on axle stand.
So here are my two questions:
1. Are there any tips and trick related to dropping the front subframe on such vehicle (apologies if this has already been covered previously but I am new to this forum)
2. Are there any polyurethane versions of the fr subframe mount for sale out there?
Many thanks,
Nick.
