Default Help after changing battery 90 4,0

I just changes the battery in my 90 XJ40 4,0 Daimler but I have a problem that I need to get fixed ASAP. Immediately when I connect the battery the front indicators start to blink and the car makes a clicking sound. Once I put on the ignition or start the car it works well but as soon as I stop the engine the clicking and blinking keeps up.

What to do???

I dont know if the specs are the same as us cars, but i believe it your security (anti theft alarm) thats causing your problem. If you scan the forum i believe its mentioned how to cure your problem. On my latest xj40 I disarmed the unit (pulled the fuse) as i dont have a key fob which is used to operate the alarm.

Nevermind. Got battery for busted remote FOB and it works now. The alarm system wanted a reset by the security remote.
