I have an 89 XJ6 and the odometer barely moves. The VCM cannot calculate the fuel mileage and I usually see 20-30 miles for distance on a full tank. The speedometer works fine, as does the fuel sensor on the VCM. This is frustrating because can't keep track of the mpg without an odometer.
