jaguar xj6 help please - rough idle

I have 1987 jaguar xj6 that runs and idles fine when cold.but then when it warms up and I put it in reverse or drive it idles really ruff and if you press the gas it dies. But if you put back in park it runs fine. I'm stumped help please.I already put ignition coil and fuel pump and if I open the flap on the mass air flow sensor it idles fine in drive but stumble a little
